On the occasion of marking the 109th anniversary of the Alphabet Congress, the delegation of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Hazbi Lika, today visited the Alphabet’s Museum in Bitola where he participated in the opening of the exhibition with the figures of the participants of the Alphabet Congress.
At the opening of the exhibition, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Valmir Aziri highlighted that on the occasion of marking the 109th anniversary of the Congress of Manastir, there was an artistic colony in which the figures of 11 participants in the Albanian Language Alphabet Congress were painted.
"Today we are here with my colleagues of the figurative art who have realized an artistic colony where they painted the portraits of the 11 congressmen participating in the Manastir Congress 109 years ago. Today is a marked day of the nation and with this exhibition we realized today we have tried to recompense their work for 109 years now, "said the state secretary Aziri. He thanked the Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Lika and the Ministry of Culture for supporting this event.
Meanwhile, starting at 19.00 at the House of Culture in Bitola will be held a solemn Concert.
